The other day I was talking to a friend about personal and home safety and protection and the talk go around to stun guns and why or why not we might want to have one.
For one thing, they are a bit expensive so I always seem to be on the lookout for cheap stun guns either in my local newspaper or on the Internet.
When I say they are expensive, I guess we might find them quite inexpensive in comparison to trying to get and install a security system or to have a rifle or hand gun in the house.
I guess I would not to have to think about the possibility of looking for the stun guns for sale advertisement in the local paper or on the Internet.
One of the things I dislike about the use of stun guns is the distance you have to be to make an effective attack.
Pepper spray, on the other hand, can be used at a distance and as far as I’m concerned, the farther the better.
Of course pepper spray can be overcome by something as simple as reading glasses whereas a stun gun can’t be overcome by almost anything.
Also, just the fact that you have a stun gun in your hand will make even the most season of muggers and thieves think twice about starting a confrontation.
I guess a combination of the two of these great weapons is probably the best answer.
Hopefully we won’t have to use either one, ever.

Tasers do not rely only on pain compliance, except when used in Drive Stun mode, and are thus preferred by some law enforcement over non-Taser stun guns and other electronic control weapons.
Tasers were introduced as non-lethal weapons to be used by police to subdue fleeing, belligerent, or potentially dangerous people, who would have...
